Pictures from the Water Camera

Day 1 | Day 2 | Water Camera Pictures | Maggie's Pictures | HomePage

At the Charlotte, North Carolina airport, I bought a disposal waterproof camera. The idea was that I could take pictures when we go scuba diving. I also like to take the action shots and stuff, and none of us want to risk a quality camera for a few pictures. I did not get as many scuba diving pictures as I would have liked, but it was certainly a good investment for the pictures I did take.

Shot of the hotel from the ocean.

Maggie and Irene ... I think.

And Now!! ... Random Pictures of Shelley!

One of the main attractions of the Bahamas is the water. You can not go to the Bahamas with out going scuba diving or snorkeling. It is against the law and you can be arrested for it.

Time to get suited up! Left to Right: part of Shelley,
Maggie ashamed of being groped by the guy wearing pink,
Irene, and Kasey

We are ready to go.
Starting from the left: Irene, Shelley, Kan, Maggie, Kasey

We were allowed anywhere on the boat, and we took full advantage.
(All names are listed in order from left to right.)

Kan, Rich, Irene, Shelley, Kasey

Now just replace Rich with the pasty white kid Steve.
Why am I so white!? I might as well be a lighthouse.

Time to get in the water.

Kan

They split us up into two groups so it would be easier to teach us. The girls went in one group, Kan and I in another. Above you can see Kan. Here are some pictures of the girl's group, but you can't tell any of them apart.

Enough practice. Off to the real dive.

Get ready! Again.

Now for the real reason you are all here. To see pictures of the wonderful world under the seas of the Bahamas. The water is actually a little clearer than what you see here, but it is just as blue. We did try for a group picture, but every time we settled to the bottom, a huge sand cloud would form and completely hide everyone. At least I got these shots.

On the way down and while waiting for everyone to arrive, there were tons of fish that simply swam around us. There were not that many varieties, in fact I there were only three or for types, but there were plenty of them. I was only able to capture these few on camera, and I really didn't do too good a job with them.

Guess who?! Actually, I have no idea who that is in front, or who those people are in back.

She's drowning! Quick take my hand!

An action sequence. This is much better when you are actually in the water.

This is Shelley because she is wearing earings. She told me so herself.

Well, unfortunately, that is all. I don't have any more pictures of my own to put up about our trip to the Bahamas, and I don't think I have the time or the patience to take Kan's camera and upload the rest of the pics. This web page stuff takes a lot of time. All of us had a great time together, and I hope that you were able to share a part of the amazing experience we were able to have in the Bahamas.
