Party Time!!! 2001

This is the only good picture from Diana's party that I have, so it will have to do. It is a good introduction to my friends at UCB.

From left to right:
Top Row - CC, John, Annie, Andy
Bottom Row - Jason, Diana, Christina, Nick, James (behind my back), me

Here is Andy's multi-event birthday party. We had dinner on his actual birthday, and a party on the following weekend so that the rest of us could be around.

Here we are at some really really fancy restaraunt. I mean really fancy.
Diana, Steve, Alex, Andy, Aileen

Blow Andy, Blow!

Party 2 at the girls' house. As you can see, there are a lot more people.

Alex, Kristen, Diana, Nikki, Andy, Jason, Aileen, CC, Christina, me (on the bottom)

Happy Thanksgiving 2001

Here we see the gang at Thanksgiving time. Aileen was kind enough to invite us family-less people over to her place to share dinner with her and her mom. We were quite grateful, especially since we didn't have to do any cooking. Note to Andy: Show some teeth when you smile.

2001 Potter Valley Rodeo. Yee Ha!!!

Colleen went crazy one day and decided to invite everyone to her hometown rodeo. It is held once a year to raise money for the community. Of course I was one of two people who decided to go. It was actually a lot of fun and I am glad she asked me to go. I learned all about the events and was able to watch little kids try to manage farm animals as big as they were. Unfortunately, I missed out on the greased pig chase because I had to serve food as part of my room and board. We did get to go out a bit in to the hillside on horseback and see some of the spectacular scenery and mountains. You can get a glimpse of what we saw in the pictures below.

Oh yea, Thanks Colleen!

And to the right we see ... ... Colleen hearding cattle.

Some one also managed to convince Colleen to compete in the Jimcana, Barrel Race. It gets pretty competitive, but she managed considering she was riding a horse she hasn't seen/riden in a year who is scared of barrels.

Random Picture of Us Bowling

Actually, Dave came over to visit from Chicago, so we had a little get together. It was quite fortunate because Dave came at the same time as Mei-Jen.
