Freshman Year 1997-98

These are a few of my college friends. They threw me a surpirse birthday party. It was really nice of them. And if any of you are reading this, thanks again.

Freshman Year Surprise Party

I used to hang out with this group (below) when I was with my ex-girlfriend (the one on the upper left). That's me (the dopey one) next to her. The other two are her close friends. We used to hang out together every weekend.

Blizzard!

This was one of those freak blizzards in the middle of spring. But we didn't care. Everyone who lived in the suites cam running out to participate in the biggest snowball fight held that year. Some kids even brought out a home-made catapult that could launch snowballs over 50 feet hight and 100 feet horizontally.

Surprise Party 2000

I was a real jerk that night before my birthday, but then Mei-Jen threw this surprise party and I felt even worse. She managed to decorate the common area and had the rest of my friends fill my room w/ balloons. She's amazing like that. Those balloons didn't leave my room for another month. Thanks Mei.

Unfortunately I had orchestra during the party, so I arrived quite late. In fact, Mei-Jen and I completely missed dinner and were only able to dance for an hour. But everyone else had fun, and that is even more important.
